About Us

Centre for Research in Global Christiantiy (CRGC) is a nonprofit and nondenominational 501(c)(3) organization with an unwavering dedication to provide a topnotch education for African leaders who are committed to present Jesus Christ as God’s good news in their communities.

CRGC partners with several institutions in Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America. We are an independent research centre that equips African Christian leaders to effectively address religious and social issues in Africa. To achieve these tasks, CRGC operates a Library, an Institute, and a Community Development project. These three services are designed to meet the educational needs of pastors, missionaries, theologians, students of theology and religion, and lay Christian leaders.

CRGC is an ecumenical organization. We promote inter-denominational conversations and inter-religious dialogues with the aim to deal with the theological, religious, and socioeconomic issues African people face daily.

Established in 2008, CRGC's Library holds books and other resources that the majority of Nigerian universities and theological institutions don’t have. Resources include: books, academic journals in African Christianity, African theologies, African indigenous religions, global Christianity, religious dialogues, reconciliation studies, mission, ethics, world religions, Pentecostal studies, and many other areas. New books are added frequently to provide students with relevant, up-to-date resources to empower their call to spread the word of God in their communities.

In 2009, CRGC started an Institute that runs short-term courses in the summer (June-August) on several topics such as mission, religion, pastoral counseling, theology, and religious conflict & resolution. Additionally, CRGC inaugurated a Community Development office in 2009 that partners with NGOs and other community development agencies that provide food and shelter to children in great need.
